When I came up with the tagline for the podcast “What It Means To Be Human” – because I’m just excited about talking to humans and talking about the human experience – I also thought about what that means to me specifically. I have been wanting to record this episode on being German for a while. It is part of what it means to be human for me.

This episode is not about efficiency or being on time. Instead, I talk about:

  • how I felt when I first started traveling,

  • the history of Germany,

  • the difference between shame and guilt,

  • generational trauma, and

  • how we can shape our societies.

For here on out, I will start recording solo episodes of the podcast in German. I’m sure I’ll have guests here and there that don’t speak German and I’ll record those episodes in English, so be on the watch for those. The title and intro will give it away.

Thank you for being on this journey with me. As always, I am here for you. If you are curious about 1:1 coaching with me, you can apply here and we can jump on a call to see if we’re a fit!
