Emma Vollrath turned her passion for fitness and wellness into an innovative athleisure line, Emma Lou, that helps women both inside and out.

Starting out as a personal trainer, Emma was tired of hearing harsh and critical comments women had to say about themselves during their training sessions (particularly directed towards the lower stomach area). She decided to put textiles and technology together to create the Glow Band, Emma Lou's recycled sweat-enhancing waistband which has been featured in Forbes, Vogue, Sports Illustrated, and more, and loved by women everywhere.

In this episode, we talk about

  • struggling with body image,

  • perfectionism,

  • hurdles for female founders to raise funding, and

  • finding balance.

You can find Emma on Instagram @emmavollrath and her label Emma Lou @emmalouthelabel. Also check out the website and shop your Glow Band™ styles.

As always, I’m here to support you! If you are curious about 1:1 coaching with me, you can apply here and we can jump on a call to see if we’re a fit!
